Alocasia x Amazonica

Description: This plant is a hybrid between two species of Alocasia, the Alocasia Sanderiana and Alocasia Watsoniana. This hybrid has dark green, shiney arrow head leaves with sinuate margins, sporting prominent silvery white veins above and a purple underside below, extremely different and exotic looking. The standard form of this old exotic is upright with long elegant leaves with held up long petioles. Because of its upright habit we grow it mostly in ten-inch pots. Six-inch pots of this cultivar are available upon request. Ten-inch pots, 3 plants per pot, 36 to 42 inches overall height.
